ON THE ROAD IN … L.A & S.F 16
Cette série est une narration par l’image, sans ambages ni artifices de ma dernière escapade entre Los Angeles et San Francisco. Pour cette série de photos, en marge de mon travail artistique mais néanmoins connexe, j’ai opté pour une approche en noir et blanc. Enclin à induire une notion d’intemporalité, le noir et blanc souligne, pour tous ces instant captés, leur appartenance à une période révolue. Le rapport de force entre le noir et le blanc comme le jeu des nuances de gris allant de l’un à l’autre me servent à donner de la consistance à ces scènes de vie captées au plus proche de l’Humain.
« On the Road In … » c’est en quelque sorte la vision périmétrique de mon travail artistique, ce cheminement personnel qui me conduit de sujet en sujet d’instant en instant, de la route au vivant. Ces photos sont autant d’instantanés de vie capturés sur le vif avec en toile de fond l’authenticité de l’Amérique urbaine.
Série exposée jusqu’au 2 Octobre à la Galerie Ici on donne des Pommes, Lyon 5, 6 rue Saint Georges. Ouverture : le mercredi de 14h à 20h30. Du jeudi au samedi de 10h30 à 20h30 et le dimanche de 10h00 à 19h00.
« On the Road in … » this series on display until September 25 at the art gallery « Ici on donne des Pommes » is a narration by the image, bluntly or artifice my last trip between Los Angeles and San Francisco. For this series of pictures in the margins of my artistic but related work, I opted for a black and white approach. Prone to induce a notion of timelessness, black and white highlights, captured for all time, they belong to a bygone period. The balance of power between black and white as the play of shades of gray going from one to the other I use to give substance to these life scenes captured closer to the Human. « On the Road In … » is somehow perimeter vision of my artistic work, personal journey that led me from subject to subject moment by moment, the drive alive. These photos are all snapshots of life captured on the fly with a backdrop authenticity of urban America. Series on display until September 25 at the art Gallery « Ici on donne des Pommes » , Lyon 5, 6 rue Saint Georges . Opening: Wednesday from 14h to 20h30 . From Thursday to Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 to 19:00.
